Beeswax Pillar Candles
Why Love Beeswax Pillar Candles ?
When looking at all the different types of candles that are produced and sold in the USA, pillar candles are by far the most popular and purchased candle; why that is… there are plenty of different opinions to answer that question. One reason that so many people love beeswax pillar candles is because they are pretty easy to make. You may be thinking that melting a block of wax, pouring it into a mold with the wick already set, and then removing it for use. While those steps are not too complicated, but it is even easier for those who are looking to use beeswax sheets to roll the popular pillar design. Another reason people seem to love these candles is the fact that they are fairly reasonable in price, and they can burn for hours at a time so that a purchaser really gets the bang for their buck. The reason this is the case is because the shape makes the wax melt evenly as the wick burns and goes down for however long the candle lasts, which means typically, the bigger the candle the longer it will last.
Some people run away from beeswax pillar candles possibly due to the fact that a few days after the candle is used for the first time, there is dust and other debris on the outside of the candle. Little do that know is that all they need to do is take a cloth to wipe it, and it will go away; but there are still others who like that aged look and leave it the way it naturally is. Does it matter whether or not a beeswax pillar candles are rolled or made in a roll? No. It really comes down to how much a person wants to pay for the candle, or how much they want to spend on supplies to make it. Using 100% pure beeswax and 100% cotton wicks, and a person can typically get the most out of using a pillar candle made from beeswax. Whether buying these candles with no color or added fragrances or purchasing one that has been altered by way of the color and/or aroma, pillar candles are definitely worth using, buying, and making.
If one takes the time to think about it, they will notice that there are a lot of people who love the natural color and sweet smelling honey odor that comes from beeswax pillar candles. This is important to consider for those who are unsure about using or making these types of candles, but just knowing how popular they are to the average candle user anyone can see that it is worth trying to use this type of candle. The things mentioned above along with the slow burning wick with a flame that doesn’t produce much, if any, real smoke as it burns. Another noteworthy thing about these products is that they give a decent amount of light, as well as heat, that most other candles cannot provide. So if you aren’t sold on using pillar candles made of beeswax after reading what was said above, then maybe they just aren’t for you. However, whatever the case… Enjoy!
